Perfect day! Well, life doesn't get much better than this. Got the Cresta back from the bodyshop today. Not often I'm speechless but I couldn't believe how good it looked. Unrecognisable. Shiney as a the shiniest thing in Shineytown, paint so glossy you feel you could dive right into it, every panel dead straight. It's taken me all evening to write this post because I keep getting up and going outside to admire it. Huge thanks to Spencer (58 Cadillac) and Simon (Pro Street GTO) for a brilliant job and for getting it done in time for the Hayride. This was a helluva job. New metal, every panel straightened, holes filled, the hole nine yards. Here's a few snaps of work in progress. Those who are going to the Hayride can see the finished article tomorrow. Seriously, nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Couple of perfectionists. Really understand and love old cars. Top quality, professional, fully equipped bodyshop in Mitcham, South London. Bleeding good price too. Highly recommended. Cheers fellas. And to top it all, the weather forecast is good, my CC's on the doormat and, is that my pizza at the door....? Happy days.
Perfect day!
