    your right about the flywheel being dished. I will try & find out about mk3 zephyr 4 which had the 1703 engine. If not I will just keep standard clutch. It's just I thought it would be lighter etc with the modern type

    Consul clutch

    Hi I'm planning to fit mk2 consul engine 1703cc into my mk1 consul to replace its 1508cc engine. Whilst I'm doing this I want to replace the clutch with the more modern diaphragm type so does anyone know which clutch cover I can use ? Thanks shaun
