Thanks for the info, I will have to take more notice the next show, I've seen a couple of 3 window coupes and quite like them too, that would solve the weather problem
but won't solve the wife problem, HA-HA, Richard.
I used to have a 32 roadster (fibreglass) with a removable roof which looked like it was a soft top. I cut up the innards of a car door with wind up windows and fitted this to the 32 doors, that way I had wind up windows. But they didnt fit perfectly like the Dearborn so always a few drafts.
If you want a 32 with wind up side windows, you need to find a convertible. Lots of money, not a lot made. Never gonna find one. The Jago 32 roadster was based on a convertible, but it didnt have the correct screen posts or door furniture available.
We used Tetanus as our only car for over 2 years, rain or shine and yeah it does get a bit tired very quickly, but roll up windows on a roadster? Not for me, I made a bolt on hard top, eventually with lift up/out windows (bit like a 2cv) we only used it twice like that. A hat, gloves and a set of waterproofs win everytime
Dearborn Deuce, Premier manufacturer of an all steel 1932 roadster body with a fully disappearing convertible top.
The price will take your breath away but I think someone makes a glass version. Someone on here has a beautiful red one, it's in Scotland but I can't remember his name
With a bit of jiggery pokery you could fit winders in. Glass would be the easy part as its flat

I've been in the custom/hot rod thing for donkeys years, go to loads of shows/weekends through the year but never take enough notice of
details of some cars I like. I'm thinking of looking about for a ford 32 roadster, but I've looked at hundreds over the years and ask the
question can you get proper wind up side windows, Its all very good if somebody just use there roadster for the odd day out when the
sun is out, but I want to use as all weather vehicle, my wife only like this shape model where I like 5 window coupes as well, cheers Richard.
