    I painted that purple and it was mine for a while and was yellow when I bought it with a brown roof , it was bought from a bloke in surbiton Surrey and I got it back on the road..

    I know this is an old thread but does anyone know where this van is now and is it likely to be at any shows this year?

    The reason I ask is the van was originally customised by my brother, Peter O'Connor, he started the project back in 1977. We would love to see it again.

    we took the drop tube off and it now sits in a mates garage,when i bought the van it was yellow with a brown roof and a 1300 crossflow it ran a 2 litre pinto while we owned it and was black with flames then purple it drove real bad with the tube axle,,
