This '55Chevy, 'Spellbound'?.............
... after a good few owners, and alot of work with various people, is now in Doncaster and called 'Street Sleeper' after the Dec '79 CC article.
It still has a hot motor, I took it out today..... Still shakin'!
only just found the forum but the car was mine between 1982 and 1985. it was red when i got it and black when it left with spellbound on the rear. Andy C
Hi Sid yes I have the car now or what was left of it from the original. Are you still in touch with the guy who owned it if so does he have any paperwork on it or info.
Sorry Sid but I knew it earlier so the reg number meant more to me than the name.
right, this was the name on the rear quarter panel of a 55 chevy that a mate of mine owned in the 80s... (Rob Wilkinson.. manchester)
from what i can remember it had a hot motor in it, deep buttoned bench seat/upholstery and stock brakes,
it was painted black and the lettering was white.
dont know anymore about it but often wondered what happened to it?..
any ideas as to what car it was/is?.
