few pics of todays work.
Here is how the sills looked after removing the body. the orignal sill sections were boxed over with a heavy gauge steel obviously over the whole length of the sill it all weighs up so time for some chopping
i then started making some new inner panels with .7mm sheet, these were then also lightened with 1 1/4 inch holes which were then flared to gain some strength.
after cutting the box section out then the original inner sections i then replaced them with the new made up peices,
the wonky bit of steel on the bottom of the sill is yet to be removed
tomorrow will finished off both sill and have the a posts removed......... hopefully
got that roll bar bent yet Mr Chips?

why have you replaced that diagonal drivers door tube. I thought that was the right size?
