I thought I’d already done this, but anything that happens to Tetanus will can now be found here… https://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/ga...t-f-e-r-532058 Admittedly there’s not much to see at the moment, but… Chaley
Sorry to hear about the dogs mate, but they do come first being family and all that. My plans................well something to do with BIVA but having three 'modded' cars I need to decide what to attack first rather than just try to do all three lol. I did try to sell the roadster to make a bit of room and give me cash to finish the escort and mini but didn't get any offers that were realistic (to me at least). So I just plowed ahead and but a big chunk of cash into the escort which I'm glad I did. It drives so much better now on modern ECU and tune etc.
Evening Dave, Cheers. I’ve still not done much other than take some more bit’s off the old thing. My budget has been slashed to nil after having to spend the best part of £2k on one of our dogs! after she ripped her side open on something and another £1k on the other one with an tooth problem, greyhounds are no problems they said…But hey pulling bits off is free, so I’ll continue down that route Tell me more about your plans though! Chaley
Good luck mate, it'll get there (one day). I'm rethinking mine a bit next year
I know! Where did the time go, hey Mark? That's probably the real reason I didn't sell it in the spring. Chaley
Owned 21 years now..........
Hello friends, Due to things changing/catching up with events I've been holding up working on Tetanus and I'll be honest and I've come so close to selling the old thing that if I could have dragged it out of the garage it would've been gone. But I've had a think and now have a bit of a plan. Delete the windscreen (no heater/wipers/washer etc) Delete opening doors (no external hinges/2 stage locks etc) Fit under floor exhaust with a cat Fit nerf bars (no worries on bolts and sharp edges to arms etc) Basically if it doesn't make it move, stop or it be seen it's going to come off. Well that's the plan, it'll still a slow burn, but that's the plan set. Wish me luck! Chaley
What's a weekend? But I have been out and cut another big lump of bulkhead out though. Should be enough to get to the coil pack and the thermostat from under the dash. Chaley
weekends work
Evening all, Liz and I were talking earlier and she said " you know we've had Tetanus 20 years now, when is it going to be back out?" TWENTY!!! Years! 20! Well that made me clear all the crap out of the old thing again and have a look to see what needs to be done to get the wheels rolling again. Box the engine mounts Exhaust Inlet Fuel lines Wire the engine ECU thing and gubbins Plumb the rad Plumb the oil cooler Clean the fuel tank Replace the fuel pump and filters Check the brakes over Build a fire wall and trans tunnel There's more, but I think that lot should see us going for a spin to the seaside. Oh I took a couple of pics. I KNOW! Now to load them on here… I think that got it? Well there we have it, I've told Liz it will be out this year… …I said that last year as well, but hey Chaley
