You'd be surprised at how reasonable it can be to build a complete engine with a blower. The blower im using isn't the atypical roots type, some call it a half blower because of its size. It's a Weiand 177 which means it will move 177cui of air on one full rotation. They reckon they're too for around 150hp on a stock 350 so I'll be interested to see what it will make on a new 383. Cheers, Rog.

yep, but i'd need to put it on the road to get more use from it and it'll only ever be a 2 seater so......
the guy says he's not changing the car, just get it set up and use it. plus make it faster once he's used to it of course, which is about what i was going to do so it's all good.

So what I'm hopefully going to end up with is a 383 small block with ally heads and a Weiand 177 supercharger. I didn't think we could do the blower so to say I'm as happy as a pig in poo would be an understatement. Just gotta wait for it all to arrive then the build can start. Can't wait. Cheers, Rog.

About the limit of my ability, I measured the old engine/bonnet bars and cut new chrome ones and swapped them for the chrome ones. Makes such a difference to the look.

But then I am an utter magpie when it comes to shiny things...
