They won't be empty for long!
Just had a quick wiz through this whole thread, you've done some cracking work there LL , love it
And then a garage full of cool cars!
oh and I envy all your empty shelves too, that is a rare thing
Hot rod heaven!
What happens when you get a big garage:
My car at the back.
On the left is my boss' old car - supercharged BBC Topolino Altered, and in front of that his new car - 34 Chevy doorslammer.
On the right is my friends 7-second comp car.
And now I've got less room than I had in the old garage
very spanky .
very nice work as always. if the cage was painted silver it'd almost disappear in amongst all that aluminium.
With the wife now (hopefully) on the mend, it was time to venture into my new man-cave to see how working on yon beastie feels with so much room (and light!).
I did a bit of reassembly and stuff, then fitted the catch can. Once the catch can was in it seemed only right to make and fit the breather hoses:
Whilst I was making hoses I lobbed the fuel tank in and joined a few bits together:
Big black hoses are the main feeds to the pumps. Long LH SS hose is the breather (with integral roll-over valve), RH SS hose is the fuel return. Both of these hoses will ultimately be fixed and tidier.
With the tank in there's a veritable sea of aluminium in the back now:
Best wishes, health comes first, take care.
Hope things work out for you both.
Oh *wellington*! sorry to hear that, hope she makes a full recovery!
