Looks like you have tried everything so maybe back to basics for a non starting engine.
For an engine to run it needs fuel/air, compression and the spark at the right time.
Easiest and cheapest to test, so test it first, is the fuel/air.
Grab a can of spray carb cleaner and while someone cranks the engine give it a gentle spray of cleaner directly into the carb.
Does it run while doing this?
yes great plan .
Good route to go, fuel delivery needs confirming 100%, you are getting there I'm sure. Dave
More than happy for the questions.
The lobes are spinning correctly. I've drained the tank and put 20 litres of fresh fuel.
I've ordered some steel plate, I'll smoke check the build for any leaks then bolt the carbs direct to the intake and see if I can get it running as a base motor, then 're fit the charger and see what it does.
another stupid q from me , is the blower going round the right way ? eg lobes rising in the middle ,and sweeping down at the sides .
I'm sure you know but I'll mention it any way, is you're fuel good?
When my drag car started the first time the headers glowed red, this was after flooding the engine cause the fuel regulator was seized
Ran it and found the Holley heat disipation plates (ally thin plates that stack to get rid of heat) that came with the carb leaked air like you would not believe, it ran but so lean.....
If it runs when petrol is poured down it is not far off, go through all the posts and list the comments, go through them then try again
Get a second pair of hands, I would pour some fuel down the carbs, whilst it was trying to run spray carb cleaner, wd 40 or similar round the blower spacer and carb spacer looking for air leaks, if it fires and tries to run and the spray doesnt highlight anything (assuming it is possible and manual) I would tow it, if not then look at fuel supply, pressure quantity and that you are actually getting fuel
Keep going that eureka momant wont be far away
good luck .hope you get it going soon
Dont feel embarrassed, most of us have been in your position at one time or another, thatís what forums should be doing, helping each other out, let the dust settle for a few days and remember nil desperadum illegitem carborundum! Dave
