Well, I was in a certain workshop today offering some creative input in the midst of a lot of head scratching. All I can say is "Oh my! Mr Harries, what ever have you done?" Should you be using cardboard and chicken wire to do that?

Hi all... just wanted to add my thoughts to the great hot n bothered debate!!!.. I grew up in Fulham back in the day, and when I first saw H&B I was mesmerised!!! I was 17 then, im now 53.... it was the most perfect rod ever.... and looking at pics of her now still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end!!! ( The only thing coming close was Havoc Minor Van and Baldys Small Fry!! ). And seeing Havoc at wheels day last year, and bringing back all those memories, convinces me that H&B must be refurbished/updated to its original glory.. It is simply the most iconic piece of British hotrodding history, and should be preserved for another 30 years.
Good luck to the current owners....... you've opened up a big can of worms!! P.S. What happened to John Baldacchino.......any one know?

Not on this thread Russ lol. Can't wait to see H & B as i said previously, like all the ol ****s on here, i remember it with adoration as a spotty teen still playing with my minor van. Looking forward to the next gathering of brit history.Mel

And thanks Treve and Steve for the comments.

Nothing we have done canot be undone EASILY We are just making this car safe and repairing damage. Better to have this car on the road and being used than rotting in some field or JUST PARKED in some garage. (you know who i meen) .
