    Did he use to write for CC in the olden days? I do remember there was a writer on there called Dron but didn't kno if it was the same person.
    I was around "the scene" in the late 79s and had been reading CC since about 74, I think I got a mention in the Alcablown feature.

    When you say it had a gas flowed head and Tripple Webbers do you mean it had the side draght carbs? That was usually done with the Raymond Mays six port heads and depending on who you listened to gave around 200 bhp. If it was 3.3 litre it may have been stroked because I wouldn't have thought there was space or bore one out much more.
