    Depending on your driving style you may need to fit a swirl pot type tank if you have problems with starvation under braking or cornering but you can do that at a later date if you have issues

    Is the tank that shape all the way along or does it have a well in it? It looks pretty thin, if you you may have pickup problems when it runs low on fuel.

    yes a good result that means you don't 'have to' fit an earth wire for the sender. you can if you want to (belt and braces) but the gauge will work without.

    That's a good result but I'd still run a seperate wire to earth. Ally and steel don't mix well so you could end up with continuity problems after a time if you get some corrosion between the two
