    Not that it matters either way, but I think the wellers suit your bus really well. They are bang on period perfect. All it needs is a monkey dirt bike hanging off the back

    Had you considered painting the wellers some colour other than the bright white they are now? Maybe add the beauty rings you spoke of too, they would swap over to steels later but it'd improve the looks no end for now.

    hi , i have all wheels at 16s now with modern rubber , but dont like the style of the weller type, thats just me ,but steels may suit it better + can get centre caps on and trim rings, its really a extended dodge day van single wheel axles, [ 71 dodge explorer 224]

    the 16.5 are to use truck tyres, heavier rated but expensive. I have a couple of spare 16.5s if they will help as I put 16s on my motorhome (dual rear wheels). all 8 stud wheels (as far as I know) are the same stud pattern and centre bore (Chrysler, ford and chevy)

    dodge 8 lug steels

    guys , suggestions to replace my weller type 16inch - 8 stud wheels on a 71 dodge rv for 16 inch -- 8 lug steels, or what might they come off, [ was 16.5s but previous owner i think went to 16s for ease of tyre fitment ], cheers,steve
