it really does myles , i was driving it thinking this doesn't feel as eager , then remembered i had been experimenting ,and wacked a big heavy spring on there to see how affected tickover , then left it on .

re projects...i may make a hard top for medusa , or alternatively try and build a coupe like the rr in the sorcerers apprentice .

no front wibblage at all bernard , the back ones do clang on the exhaust if cornering hard ,and the axle tilts , and also the back one vibrate at some points i think because the wheels are not balanced .the tyres do rub a bit as they grow due to speed ,but it just makes an interesting hissing noise.

one weird thing is that , when cornering left , the rhs front mudguard catches a little , so i am gradually levering it away from the tyre , it now only does it at higher cornering g's ..so a little more bending required .i think that tyre may be folding over a bit more than the others ,with such a high sidewall and only 28 psi .

    ello me bucko's !

Well.... finally got to the point on the dyno where i was not getting anywhere fast ,apart from grating off more and more tyres ..

i treid putting it in 5th and using low rpm around 2200 and holding it steady state ...this just stripped off my gritting ;(

and took the roller down to bare metal !

so my final mass of , pre injection and after inj fitted .... ,graphs , made with the car , are these ..

    BHP ..

    TORQUE ...

you can see pre inj hovered around the 325 bhp and 360 lbs/ft ,,,,and the injection ones around 350 bhp and 420 lbs/ft ...there is so much spinning going on its safe to say that in reality there is a fair bit more power in there .

so come last sunday i decided to take my first passenger in the car , and veronica was my first victim , she was very enthusiastic

We went for a walk at blenhiem palace , and the weather was perfect ,sunny and not too hot ...she videod and took pictures ,

dash of the car en route..

and i choose to model my latest gay MTB captain look..

once at the park we cruised in , ignored the parking arrows , and stuffed the beast on the grass under the trees , v took another load of nice pics for me ...

walked a few miles . scoffed a bit of snacks , and came back to the car to chat to the interested parties , met some really nice friendly people .

jumped in the car , and drove off out with the children waving at us ...and off to the 10 miles home ..v's verdict on the drive , "it was amazing , felt like she was in some beautiful racing speedboat" ....NOICE !

notes on the drive for me are , must take off the heavy throttle return spring, it make the car feel reluctant ...much find a stiffer set of rear cartsprings ,its soft with me in there but with two people its much too soft ...mapping going well , but cold starts have become a prob ,no idea why .

Yesterday i had to nip 5 miles ,up to the A40 for some stuff , so took medusa , and on the way back tried pushing it a bit harder through the bends ,and using higher rpm's....all i can say is it was brilliant , now the injection is getting closer its driving more like a normal car , flexible and easy to use the power ,you can throw her into a corner.... power on in mid apex , and blast out just using the torque , its got over 300 lbs ft from 1400 rpm to 5600 , and over 400 lbs ft from 2400 to 4400rpm , so ,with a body weight of under a ton , its very easy to drive .

    thanks for reading
    via con dios ..

    Regards
    robert
