    How does a helical LSD work? Clutch-packs and lockers use spring pressure, and I had an Alfa rear axle that was like an open diff if you turned it by hand but I think wedged 'shut' under load.

    My memory is ****
    when I mentioned in my build thread we were getting 9" Ford helical lsd's in at work a couple of people here said to let them know when they came in. Today's that day, but we only have about half a dozen each of 28 and 31 spline here. They are 495 plus the dreaded so be quick if you want one.
