You do have the right to be forgotten, but we don't delete accounts for a myriad of reason; for example we would like to prevent confusion if your comment were to be deleted from a long thread. Rather than deleting accounts, we anonymize them, removing personal data from them such as registered email, and password. If sillysod or any other user wishes to anonymize their accounts the have to contact us by PMing us or reaching out on a thread like this and telling us to move forward with that process.
Interesting that you can't have your posts delivered. Under GDPR there is the right to be forgotten. But I guess it's to what extent these posts could be considered 'personal data' for that right to apply.
You can't delete your posts so just log out of your account and don't log back in, job done.
