You mean like the 'mate' that was up against it getting his car finished for a show so ,while still working, I'd go to his house from 6 in the evening til 4 in the morning, 3 hours kip and then back to work for 5 days? He didn't help out when I had a 6 week deadline for a show abroad and I was in the final stages of kidney failure.

Told another one he was taking the **** ,only coming to see me when he wanted something . he said he wasn't like that at all .....and then continued to do the same thing.

Nah, they've all had what they've wanted from me ( for free).

Most haven't even contacted me to see how I was doing after my major stroke and heart attack and op earlier in the year.

Have a couple of proper mates that help me out when they can .

I farmed some bodywork out on my Kapri to Stylecraft Coachworks ( Mike Wareham in Bournemouth )which has enabled me to move on with the Kapri.

All manner of small jobs but initially a conversion of existing column to tilt, fitting additional u/j ,which also entails finding reason for slow steering wheel return ( I know what the choices / possibilities are) and diagnose/ fix rumble on new halfshaft bearings on 4 HA probably needs a non standard spacer making. All of which I can do myslef but not in the foreseeable future as I try to finish other stuff that IS within my health.
