Hard to believe itís nearly four years since I updated this thread. Anyway, the hot rod got a big tunnel ram, which worked surprisingly well, and then it got a roof, which worked well in the blistering sun. I made it myself as usual.

Then the dream turned sour, wife and I split up, after 22 years. She got the beautiful house, and I came back to England with our daughter.

The hot rod was sold to a friend of mine. Now Iím rebuilding a Jago T bucket in our old 3 bed semi.....in my old garage...that I built myself in 2006. Living the dream, right....

part of the filipines its not safe to have a light skintone or people showing they got cash , a fillipina neighbour i had tells noone she lives in the netherlands when she visiting relatives there as they would assume she got money to "lend" them

i wanted to rent a scooter while i was there the first time and the neighbiour adviced against it , there where people trying to trow themselves in front of you and a cop in on the scam would say its the foreighners fault (lots of bystanders seeing it his way too offcourse) and treathen to trow you in jail for the rest of the holliday if you didnt pay up right there (in cash offcourse )
its a poor country so every chance to make a buck i guess
WTF???? You sounded a little bit sensible in your first post, now you sound like a nutcase!

Out cruising with some of hot other local hot rods. (see the blood stains from suicide attempts, and the empty wallets)

Yes mate, Filipinos do tend to lack in safety attitude, despite their many skills.

In moneyed circles there are some amazing cars around the country. Filipino friend of mine in Manila just took delivery of a bright yellow Ferrari, ordered from the factory. Big Bucks.
