Managed some upgrades over the Winter, mostly rear suspension - moved the shocks to vertical and put bearings in the caltracs whilst also making them hit harder. Also took another 25kg off the weight, mostly at the front.Went down to Shakey on the Sunday of Gary's Picnic, and after the usual nonsense (no gas in the bottle) managed a [email protected] with a 1.8 sec 60ft.Still lots of wheelspin, car wandering about down the strip.I think maybe I need to be more aggressive with the clutch off the line to sit the car back and get it to hook up......

    Hi Steve
Will you be out trying for an 11 before the NEC Show?

Hi Joe,sorry I missed talking to you at the drags.Yep,still spinning in first, but less so.I reset the caltracs to 2mm clearance and tightened the panhard rod to stop the springs binding on them.Over the winter I'll refit them with bearings and new more aggressive settings. If all else fails I'll make a frame and snubber bars clamped to the diff.Would be great to run against you next year, the cars are very close.
Also got the slicks better sorted now,on 7'' rims at 9psi,much less scary wandering about down the strip.
