Cut the boot floor out so will need to make a new one of them , they are struggling to get hold of the rear floor pans so I'm going to repair them . And continue to seam weld the rest .

Wow that's had a fair bit of off patch work but would agree that it's Jst perfect for sierra floor pan , did hav a mk1 before that a mate leaned on the wing and the inner wing collapsed on it so u could get a worse one lol

bad thing about blasting, is you can put holes in new metal.

i took a mates vw floorpan to the blasters, brand new floor pans on there and it came back with holes in.

acid dip would have been better... but more expensive

    keep at it tho dude.

Hmm, that's a nice mess! Keep going, there's still a lot of decent metal left!

heng, that has seen its fair share of a welder! haha. but that makes it ideal for a big project, you wont be afraid of chopping it about loads. that was my problem when i built my 105e i bought one that had been welded to hell and had big plans of going steel trailer arches and everything then another popped up never been welded and at a bargain price needless to say i bought that one sold the welded to hell one and then was too soft to take a angle grinder to the one i just bought, still a nice period custom though.
