Hello Andy! What a bleeding small world! Keith gave me your number when I bought the car. I wrote it on an envelope and lost it.

Anyways, the Cresta's down at a place in Mitcham run by a fella I know off the NSRA website. Very good reputation. Bit of straightening, fix the bottoms of the doors, plug up the holes where the trim's come off, that kinda thing. Decided to take the V-A-U-X-H-A-L-L off the bonnet too. Gonna be the same colour. Apart from that, all I've done is fit an alternator and a moon gauge set. Oh, and an 8-ball gear knob!

Wish I'd taken the 3.3 motor and powerglide at the time. Just didn't have anywhere to put them. Still haven't. Holding onto the manifold and head though until I have.

Once it's done, I'd be happy to swing by so you can see how the old girl's looking.

Sorry I cant offer any dry lockup space.
Thats why I had to let her go ( plus giving it to my old mate in payment of a debt ).
    Oh well....
At least its still in London ( where it has been since the 80,s ).

I'll be looking out for it at the shows ( when I can be arsed to start going again ).

Bit of a long shot this. I'm looking for somewhere dry to keep the Cresta. Really don't want to leave it on the street when it's back from the bodyshop.

Anyone know of any garage space to rent in the Camberwell, Peckham, East Dulwich area of SE London? Lock up, workshop, or whatever. Happy to share.
