    Hi Steve
I have been told via PH that the real "J Class" are even bigger! - 85 foot on the waterline. This one is only(!) about 60 feet I reckon.
I have been giving the Morris a good polish as it is to be on "Prom" duty next week.......and we are off on holiday!

Ye gods - Another year has gone by - The Morris has had another MoT pass - and today I bought it back from the Isle of Wight. Happy to cruise between 55 and 65 no problem for the 160 miles but I did get cramp in my leg - and sunburn on my shoulders!

It doesn't seem possible but the Morris was due for another MoT. Booked in and drove it there this morning. A pass with no advisories and the MoT man said it was the cleanest car he has ever MoT'd.

Been doing a bit of running around in the Morris and had a "clonk" in the front suspension. It turned out that a well worn top trunnion had been cleaned up and reused........(Done before I started! and I was told it was a refurbed suspension....) Anyway it was stripped out and a new top trunnion was installed. Some other detailling was done and so it is now finished and I have got started on the next project - which will get a thread of its own.

Finally resolved the electrics! When I pushed the speedo into place it had forced the ignition warning lamp into the heater outlet and shorted out so I have fitted a shorter, plastic bodied modern lamp housing for the ignition warning lamp and it now works fine. I also put in an extra switch for the heater fan, got the glovebox cubby holes sorted and so the Morris is now complete...
I am doing a service and clean up on an MG TC now
.........and the next major project is a ..........Ronart!
