The should fit flush on the mounting panel, adjustment is then done by two screws normally located approx 12 and 9 oclock. The headlight chrome cover has two sections with curved cutouts and these locate onto the adjusters between the very top and the spacer that is just slightly underneath which allows room for the chrome to swivel into.
My mate is fitting some headlights to a kit car the round ones with the plastic bowels.When he fits the should they point forward or at a angle pointing away from the pavement.Thanks
