Well we went for the weekend. God-awful racket on friday night was sorted before saturday night thankfully. Camping facilities were good, some really nice rides to look at, good music and nice and laid back. We didn't bother going to look at the fiestas lol. We enjoyed the weekend and will go again next year if it's on. It's a shame the live music ended about 3 in the afternoon (until the evening 9.30pm start) - if there hadn't been any live rockin' bands on in the day-time we wouldn't have gone. I think the bands would have been better appreciated if there'd been some hay-bales for folks to sit on and watch them and if the stage was in a corner rather than being as a through-fare. It was nice to see some bling-bling rods (which was possible I guess mainly due to the indoor facility) as this made the event a little different from Americana etc. My little lad's favourite was the rat that had rocket exhausts. My favourite was 699 YUP 31a (but only cos my 29a wasn't there I didn't find any auto-jumble though and can't comment on the evening festivities due to foregoing them due to having little one with us. Sunday seemed to be better attended than saturday so I hope next year gets even better.
Sunday prices in a rod.. £ 7.50 for driver plus 1.91 Booking Fee :****er: Passenger £ 15 plus £ 1.91 Booking Fee.. If booked in advance
can't seem to find any camping info, what facilities are there?
btw, it's probably too late to care about, but it's impossible to order tickets on an iPad as you can't get past the insurance option on the form.
the links seem to work ok ? but the office/ ticket number is 08444 151413
Can't get links to work anyone know what gate price is for Sunday and can you go in with your car?
Or has anyone got a phone number
Raring to go, lets hope the weather's good.
Bump as it's nearly upon us shame my 29A isn't ready though
Plenty going on at night too ader....
Stil looking forward to this, like the fact that there'll be stuff for a family to do and music during day time
