Crazy Horses: The History of British Drag Racing: Brian Taylor: Amazon.co.uk: Books
Yep sounds like a good book on the History of British Drag Racing. Been following the progress for a while now. Well worth buying a copy or two. I think its being distributed in the USA as well i think. Well done Brian.
Not really a rodding history thang, but still related as it's the title of a new book by Brain Taylor (ex-commentator at SPR & ex-chairman of the BDR&HRA).
It's the history of the first 20 years of drag racing in the UK, but does have some early rod pics in it (some mine!) & is published by Haynes. There will be a "celebrity" signing at the Main Event at SPR on the 24th May, when some of the pioneers of drag racing (& hot rodding) will be present & also John Bennett will be officially inducted into the British Drag racing Hall of Fame.
