After my master cylinder seal leaking. I got it sorted with a little help from Mygasser. Thank you very much for you help.
So I bolted it all together and chased a few leaks. I swear I will never use stainless brake pipes again. Never had so many leaks in a system.
While I had it up on stands I pretty much finished all the bits underneath. Hand brake adjustment, attaching wiring to chassis... That sort of stuff.
And put fuel in the tank. A quick flick of the key and it fired right up. Still need to set timing and float heights and tick over and stuff, but it cant be too far off the way its running.
So today I decided, was the day to drive it.
Out the garage, up the drive and out into the layby outside my house and back. Not far, but the first time its gone anywhere under its own steam.
Pretty exciting stuff for sure. Scary as Hell! Loved it!!!
Anyway..... A few pictures of it back in the garage until I work out how to put a vid up...

And its covered in dust... It hasnt got a white roof....

wilwood do a 1" bore dual circuit master cylinder, i think we keep rebuild kits for them at work https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/produc...ducts_id=25478 which you could use the seals from. if you send your seals to us we can check them for a match, inside diameter will be the decider. if no good we can send them back of course.

So.... another complication. Master cylinder is leaking fluid out of the end. Works the brakes ok. Just leaks out of the end.
The problem with that, is I dont actually know what it is or who made it. No part numbers or make name. Just that its a 1 inch bore.
So I cant buy a seal kit. And a new master cylinder to replace it will cost me the thick end of 100 quid! Lot of cash for the sake of a ****ty rubber seal....
It only has 2 outlets on one side and none on the other.
So......... Until I fix this problem I still cant drive it.
