Well after getting a setup on our car earlier this year I can say that itís a lot of fun and pretty interesting stuff.

We used Hilborn parts and I found their website very helpful in getting my base knowledge together. The same theory goes for all the mainstream makes with differences in the detais of the poppets etc. Have a scoot around their tech support area under www.hilborninjection.com if you get time.

The other place that also gave me a good clude how it all works is the US nitro racer Spud Miller's website, although he runs nitro, reading how he moved from alky to nitro and his setup works for him is very interesting. I have to thank Crazy Chris for pointing me in that direction a number of years ago!

With regards to using mechanical injection on the street, Hilborn have a nice piece on this:

So I'll leave you to have a read through some of that!

    Cheers,

    Dean.

As far as I'm aware, a complete set up off a BBF, tunnel ram, scoop, injectors, fuel pump and brackets, all has come off a multiengined tractor.
Do a trade on a BBf tunnel complete if I do buy it....

constant flow pump either cam or belt driven, plumbed via barrell valve, flow controlled by poppets / check valves which operate at different pump pressures as the rpm's increase. Mechanicall system is race only, theres no transition circuit, only idle and WFO. With EFI obvioulsy it can metered electonically.
