Thanks.
No - all from the kit (Revell) apart from hoses, plug wires and wire separators - just detailed and painted.

What about Searls from Hornchurch and Lamberts from Ilford-another two that aint there anymore
Anyway heres two old show pics from Small Talk[/QUOTE]
hello. new to this forum but an old hand at the SM/SMALL TALK stuff. i remeber the replica of the Humphries Pop by Mr Brown. it was at Motivation 86 in Brighton and the prize was a huge kit collection, which i nearly won. thats my 57 chevy in the small talk article.
i have lots of pics from watfords rods shows and model shows, small talk nationals, yankee doodle sunday. i will post them on here over time along with my recent builds.
i did build a model for the NASC show back in 2001. SLAM was organising the event and advertised it in SM. i just about had the car done when i noticed that the model show had been deleted from the ad. after a call, it was confirmed that SLAM had pulled the model show. :-( the model remained unfinished for 8 years.
anyone remeber or bought old kits from bob at carkits international? he was based in southend.
steve
Ohh - I bought SM from No1 for several years too so now I know who you are! Loved your builds, please post them for us to drool over Steve!

Yep and yep his still there.
As said above it would be great to see your model show pics
I remember entering the shows organised by SM at Hickstead in the late Eighties (first was a 34 Coupe HiBoy with Countach wheels of all things). Followed this with factory stock models when Small Talk Comps moved to Doncaster.
Bought loads of stuff from Bob at CarKits over the years, most of which I am selling off now.
Would be good to see any pics you've got from the contests over the years.
