Taken far too long. Started in 2002 but slowed down in 2004 for 3 or 4 years due to so many time (and financial) constraints, but life's getting back to normal now. Only jobs left are repair & paint the bonnet and replace the upper steering column bearing, which I discovered was worn the other day. But seeing as it now drives, steers & stops its 99.99% finished!
Spec is bodywork restored with new metal butt-welded in where necessary & lead loaded. Bare metalled & shot blasted where necessary then painted in 2 pack (twice........). Engine is a mid 90's 305 M-series with Vortec heads. Although only a 305 these put out 270bhp as stock. Mine's fitted with an Edlebrock Performer intake & matching 600cfm 4-barrel. Transmission is a rebuilt TH350, hokked up to the original column shift. Suspension is lowered by 2" all round. Wheels are 17" Torque Thrust 2's, 7" wide front, 8" wide rear.
