    Very nice Russ, that's going to be stunning when it's finished.

    I've added some pics of the other MK3 in my family, my brothers Savage replica which is currently undergoing some major surgery as well at the minute. It started life as a Daytona Yellow 1300L but is now running an Essex V6 bored out to 3.1 litres, Type 9 5 speed box, lowered all round and polybushed.

    First pic is how he bought it 3 years ago with some of the restoration work being carried out at the minute.

    Always liked the mk3 shape especially the 2 door ,one of Ford's nicest and with a 3litre essex must be sharp to drive too

    Thanks for all the comments guys. I changed the wheels as I really didn't think the 17's suited the car. What do you all think of the new ones?

    New ones look much better, much more in keeping with the style of the car. Can't fault this one. Interesting number plate too.
