helped my mate organise his collection between building the other day these are three 59,s all 348 tripower 4spd cars, he has 150 cars all minters mainly 50,s converts ,corvettes & muscle cars 150 cars, quite a sight to see & a very humble guy . http://imagehosting.rodsnsods.co.uk/...ce34ce3241.jpg
That reminds me of a chaps place called don long on the garage journal.
What a nice place to have...
yeh its pretty impressive , all the signs , petrol pumps etc are restored originals no repops, all the cars are matching number high horse power & big block multi carb or fuel injected models , the owner is a humble guy that dresses more like the cleaner than the owner & all the repair ,servicing work he does himself in a fully equipped 10,000 square foot garage next door , there's also a 50,s authentic diner in there .
wow, that's all my dreams in one go there Ray
Hemi RR will do me, look good parked next to mine as its the same colour:tup:
iknow what you mean jim the sad part for me is i,ve owned just about every one them over the last 40 odd yrs but was when they were nothing special & never had the sense to hang on to any of them , it would be hard for me to to pick just one , but for me it would be a toss up between the boss 429 mainly because i owned that exact car way back in 1975 but was,nt smart enough to keep it , or the 69 t/am , i love the r/runner & its a blast to drive with the manual gearbox , but the other two go round corners a bit better & stop a little quicker , the nice part is i get to drive them without the headache of owning them all , his corvette collection is just as impressive , he has a mint 66 coupe marina blue 427 tripower , we bought it directly from one of the space shuttle astronaughts , he bought it fresh out of college & still had the newspaper ad , he gave us one of his space jackets & few other bits n pieces from the shuttle , my mate is really friendly if you ever make it out this way look me up & i,ll take you round there you,ll love his tow truck !
