IIRC the cream/white interior was an option but never popular and quite rare in this country, but sold quite well in the hotter climates, I think there were 2 options as well, Vinyl or Leather,I also think I know where there is a white interior for sale, and has been for about 5 years now!!!!

Super nice and IMHO the nicest colour for these cars, love the Savage/Dunlop wheels. Mk2 is the only marque Ive never had (yet) and looks cool in 2 and 4 door form...and estate.

Gorgeous 1600E. I've had a couple of these in the past and have always had a degree of regret that I let them go. In fact, one of the cars had front and rear headrests and I have often wondered if they were a factory option as they were in the same vinyl material as the seats and looked like they had always been there.
I saw a 2 door 1600E on the 'buysellcortina' site a few months back and it started my enthusiasm for these cars again. Well done on such a superb restoration.
