    Drag Racing MG Midget

    Went to Shakey at the weekend,and met a few people,so thought I might post something here.The car is a much modified '72 but still A series..Stripped of weather gear,turbocharged, a whiff of gas,Ford transmission.Ran a PB of 12.8 @ 107 on Saturday,and then drove it home.midget 2012 005.jpgmidget 2012 003.jpgmidget 2012 002.jpgDSC_6236.jpg

    Thanks for the nice comments.
Yes I still have traction problems, but I've upgraded to a 20kg box of gravel in the boot now! A set of M/T slicks are being fitted as we speak.......

Tidy car! Why not come along to the retro show @ the pod this sunday?
You'd be more than welcome to use our pit area and hospitality suite. Just look for the MG Drag racing club stand towards the finish line and come and say hello.
We'll have a nitrous oxide midget on site to give you someone to play with on track?

    Cheers,

    JC.

    How do,

Stuart the owner of the midget is on the MGOC forum. You're already running very quick times, though!
    Are you running nitrous yourself?
