Somehow a civilian (Tony Page) managed to buy a new Norton Interpol II from the factory and despatched it. He clocked up 450,000 miles before retiring it but its still going strong.
The engine has only three major moving parts, two rotors and an eccentric shaft. Eventually, the rotor tips wear the casings but thy can be re-machined and 'Moly' coated.
Gearboxs are noisy but im told its nothing to worry about. Mines still going strong despite 7 years of abuse from me.
I love it, the noise that engine makes through the replica race pipe is sooo addictive!!

Nice bikes and the Pop looks mint.

What plans have you got for it?

    Cheers ... Jon
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body , but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit ... what a ride"

Thanks for the comments. Photos rarely tell the whole story, the Pop is a bit of a 5 yard car (to quote Pike). If you look at the lower part of the door you can see that its made of rust and filler. The doors are quite rotten and there are rust bubbles under the paint elsewhere which havnt got any worse since ive had it. Eventually the bodywork will need sorting but for now my prioritys lie elsewhere... i could tell you where/what but, as the saying goes, then i'd have to kill you watch this space!
