    New toy

Sold the 46 Chevy truck and bought this to play with. 1939 Pontiac....right hand drive!!!
The story goes that a hotelier in London bought it as an English spec in 1939 and then parked it up when war broke out. 4000 owners later it came to me. I bought it from a collector who never drove it and didn’t even know how to put the roof down.....
I think it was restored around 20 years ago and although it was a good job a new paint job wouldn’t go amiss. It drives well but not as it should so have a few little jobs to do before I’ll be happy to take it out on any decent length journey. And a 12 volt conversion in the winter is definitely on the cards

And Ive got a new co pilot.....although she is a proper mummy’s girl

    Very nice indeed.

I'm sure RHD will make it easier to drive too.

    Good luck, Paul.

Lovely! Just the sort of thing Philip Marlowe would have driven - check for the stashed .38 in the secret compartment under the dash.
