    The shAm sedan

Towards the end of last year I decided it might be time for a change and let my well known, used and abused 32 pick up go. A hell of a wrench after nearly 10 years but the need to go faster and room for the kids proved too much.

I didn't hang about finding a replacement and soon found this Model A sedan in San Marcos Texas and arranged for it to be shipped over. Picked it up just before Christmas and dropped it off at Kelvin Dunn's Flying A Speed shop for him to work some magic on a roof insert and some other bits and bobs. Can't wait till I get it back and start thrashing it!

Congrats on the new purchase, Gavin. It looks absolutely stunning. Does this particular shade of brown have a name? I'm digging it a lot.

Thanks man. The colour is more of a burnt orange, at least in the sun. It’s a one off colour that the previous owner mixed up and threw on there. He builds and restores neon signs so I’m guessing he had some paint knocking around to use up.
