    Blowers, what’s out there?

    Cheers

blower manifolds aren't available for the caddy engine (as far as i know) but you can buy adapters to allow fitting a 460 ford manifold and blower manifolds are readily available for those. not the cheapest way to go but by far the simplest and if you're building a blown big block (a caddy at that) 'cheap' doesn't really come into it.

    Hi Mental,

As Neil says, any decent 4bbl intake can be adapted for a blower.
Just need a flat piece of ali screwed/bolted on where the carb sits and drilled for the blower screws.
Then the fun starts getting all the pulleys worked out lol...

most manifolds i've seen have the carb sitting at an angle so you cant just bolt a flat adapter plate on where the carb bolts on.

    Thats right Seb.

Its so the carb sits horizontal when then engine lays back about 3 degrees (when will I see you again)?
I have an offy 360 manifold which had a blower mounted on top with an ally adapter plate.
Looks like it was squared off, so the blower sits backwards in line with the motor.

Got to love a blower, it just says FAST!!!

you can buy wedge carb spacers in different degrees which might work.
