    jag irs shims

    Hello peeps
i am now having to resort to begging to get my pop done.
there is a long list of household failures taking my money (£64 for a room stat:****er.
has any one got two .138" wheel bearing shims they don't want, i know how cheap this sounds but god i am poor!!!!, no overtime no second job but i will not give up even if it means begging for parts.

i will be your bestest friend if you can help my soul survive

    Glenn

Glenn I was just checking that you couldn't thin down the existing ones you had . Did you dial gauge the end float to work out the shims ?

    Hi there Kev
yeah used a dial gauge from work (yearly certification and all ) and my own vernier gauge, i always say things like "badly measured" to give myself a plan B if i get it wrong, better to say your an idiot than a genius i think, that way if your wrong you don't look worse than you said you were

Still use your polished parts Glenn, just pull the free ones apart and see what shims are in there,
