    Portafold Caravan

Hellooo, I'm after a Portafold Caravan, you know the ones...like a cross between a Portaloo and a Mr Whippy Ice Cream Van. I love 'em but not got a great lot of money at the moment so, perhaps looking for one that needs a bit of work maybe? Does anyone know of any please? I thank you nicely, Billy.

    Hi Billy

the best place is Ebay, or try portafold.co.uk The home of the Portafold caravan and place a wanted ad.
A very nice one made about £1500 last week, but i have seen them go for £300 upwards. Depends how good the interior is.

    hope this help

Dan; thanks for that. I'm in the process of registering with the Portafold people. Having a problem signing in at the moment; perhaps my daftness preceeds me? Seen your's on there..very nice! I missed a couple on Fleabay on account of them going for too much/me being too tight (delete as appropriate). Thanks again, Billy

Depending how many of you need to sleep in it, you might want to find one with an awning already in the deal. It doubles the space you have inside.

just finishing inside mine now, all new cushions and curtains, table etc.

The two I had my eye on had awnings. It's a great idea because, even though there's only going to be 2 people at the most in it, one may snore so the other can sleep in the awning. Nice interior picture of yours. Cant wait to see it at a show. You going the Fun Run with it?

A little bit of an up-date (and a rant). Saw a Portafold on a website, phoned the person up, struck a deal, I sent him a cheque for the full amount (I know, I know but, I treat people like I like to be treated) waited for the cheque to clear, it cleared, booked a B&B in his area (390 mile round trip from where I live), told the person who was going to be sharing the driving with me, they booked time off work to help, only to be rang by the person 3 days before we were going to be collecting it to be told that he's "changed his mind" or, his other half has "changed" his mind for him.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Anyway, I'm still after a Portafold or, a really small, classic, 2 berth caravan please. Thanks, a rather dissapointed, Billy.

Thanks Maz; it's not quite what we had in mind but thanks for the offer and, for that price for one of those, it shouldn't hang around for too long. Thanks again, Billy
