I think a Torque Converter from a 2000cc Rover / Borg Warner will also help what you want to do...

TH400 was what I used in my Pop years ago with a 3500 converter , worked really well but way over the top really.

Funnily enough a guy from Holland rang me tonight , he recentley bought the engine from my old car. He says nothing happens until 3000rpm , then all hell breaks loose!!!
A bit too much for a road car , it has a 256 cam

It all depends what you want to do with the car , dont be fooled in to having , big this and big that , if you will be using it on the road most of the time , enjoy it

hi lucky, i already have my car built to run in the nscc, so looking to make it as quick as poss, its in a pop which is pretty lignt wey the eng spec & 150bhp nos inj, should get me to low teen,s, especially wey 3.55 lsd shortend jag rear/ 60serias tyres (i got some pic,s in the garage sec) ireally want to keep the b/w for a while or till i brake it, so thought just a small inc in the stall speed would help it hook up better. what is ur thought,s,? cheer,s jonny

Sounds like you got a plan there Jonny Take it easy with the gas , I lifted both heads on my Rover getting a little giddy with the bottle

Its a good combination of parts , as you say you need a bit more stall on the converter....let us all know how you get on

    Good Luck Wayne
