    Indeed not. But a three phase supply does, and if we are going to play with 3 phase, then it's best to be armed with all the info.

    playing with 3 phase has always come easily to me, i call my sparky and he does it. it's that easy

    Well Darren, you've seen inside the workshop here, 300A three phase supply, lots of three phase machinery; And as it's "only me" I am chief electrician/engineer/fitter/welder/rigger/labourer/floor sweeper in there.

    thats kinda the plan mate

    the cable cost 4k to buy its to run 20 ovens that heat up some kinda laminate stuff that has element wire inside and is used to de frost aircraft wings

    there is a load of big aluminium cable at the scrap yard that i go to

    I probably do but Tingewick nr Buckingham is too far away to make it worthwhile. Old 3 phase pillar drill and the supply socket is the other side of the workshop for which we currently have an extension lead which I'm not keen on!

    A 3 phase supply is just three phase , A 3 phase and neutral supply is exactly that , they available separately and dont always have a neutral
