    3M panel bond

I got this 3M panel bond, but the special gun for it is £250!! This gun pushes on both tubes at the same time and the 2 mix through a special nozzle.

I was thinking of just squirting it out onto a mixing board, mixing by hand and then applying.

    Any thoughts/comments/experience with this?

    Thanks Guys and Gals

    Ian
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt", but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

    Hi Ian.
I have had a similar issue years ago. the tech people will always come up with some fancy explanation for the expense of the gun. A dead giveaway is to check the volume of each cylinder, from this you can easily get your mix ratio! and also the gun will dispense each cylinder equally so I adapted a normal silicon gun to hold and dispense the contents by pushing equally on each plunger.
otherwise just squeeze the lot out and mix properly but be mindful of reaction/curing times.
    hope this helps, Brendon.
