As Al said give Wayne a call. Alternatively, as I see your in Gravesend, you could go see Paul Burnham, he has a large rod/custom workshop just outside Gravesend. He is always willing to give advise. Burnham Auto's is the company name.
If you hang around long enough down there you'l meet a lot of the local guys and can gleen information off them.

It'd be best to ask Wayne to list what he built the car with & what's missing now & go from there.

Hey Rocket scientist, see post #9, last sentence may give you a clue!!

Is that youre car/thing in youre av? if so, go put some barbed wire round the grille shell and finished it off before dinner. Nice car

Thanks mate, means a lot coming from an innovator such as yourself. I bet you're glad you've broken up for Christmas?
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

    Youre welcome, anytime.

......you might want to brush up on youre axle knowledge as well--mate. Crawl under a Ford explorer some time--and a Fox body Mustang---- you will find an 8.8" diff in there,...
hence the (8.8?) that is why I put a question mark, i.e. "are you sure its an 8" and not an( 8.8?)
    Do you get it now?.

I dont "break" up at Christmas, I only work 200days a year, and I pick which days they are.

Hey, if you want to "buy" some street cred for youre badass Rod, roll under the back of a newish Transit, ---they have a Dana 60 axle on!! ..but you prob knew all that anyway.

The "innovater" bit was good and not TOO far from the truth, (when it comes to MOPAR) if you knew me, you would understand this last sentence.
Its all good mate, jst dicking around!

I'm really struggling to see the relevance my car has to this thread, I'm sorry you feel threatened by it, or that I suggested I wanted to buy some street cred. I can only assume you've run out of stuff to moan about, a day I & many others never thought we'd see. I now realise that I'm no match for your rapier wit or Wilde-esque personal put downs so shall bow out from this steaming box of toss.

~86~ Sorry to have highjacked your thread, replied to your PM by the way.

    Lightbulb

Dunno about 8" axles but I installed a 9" / 4 link kit from Hauser and can't quite remember if there's a standard/typical length for the bars.
So unless it's a real cramped space they may just be off the shelf lengths !? Opposite threads each end so you can wind em in or out to adjust.

I would think its been set up to run as a "parallel" 4 bar & not a race 4 link ? get some pics up when you can

(oh & the spelling is FORD ... AT LEAST THEY NEVER NAMED A REAR AXLE AFTER AN IRISH SINGER ! )
