    5 1/2" sealed beam headlamps

    Anyone know where I can buy some 5 1/2" sealed beam headlight units, I need 1 x dip & 1 x main...

    Tried ebay but none availiable, only motorcycle low voltage...

    Defintely 5 1/2 and not 5 3/4 Bob ? 5 3/4 is the smaller automotive standard size to the general 7 inch.

    Defintely 5 1/2" checked today.....I think they might be the same
    as 7 series BMW ?

    may have to take a visit to the scrap yard ..to check...

    Just thought is this for the '58 Impala ? If so they will be 5 3/4 regardless of how they measure up.

    The European stuff has the glass locating pins in the wrong place on the back ( T shirt) .
