    55-57 chevy pick up master cyl knackered seals gone

    I would like to replace the original single master cyl , for a twin circuit 1 it is under the floor with a remote servo ,any ideas.

    55 57 car master and servo are bolted directly to the pedal via the fire wall

    Pretty sure they are the same , I sold the servo & master cylinder from my 62 to Darren for his truck and that was the same as 55 57 car, pretty sure he's used them.

    Thats the 1 and it's just packed up ,nearly hit the house anybody know if there a uk kit that will do,as i know the early landrover slave seals are the same as the tri chevy slaves.

    There are a number of companies in the States that do kits to enable the fitting of a later dual circuit MC to the existing mountings, found these, one with servo and one without, should give you an idea of what is required in terms of brackets etc:

    Cheers will give us auto a call tomorrow ,then look to up grade to dual as i have a 7" servo.
