it's not a two piece bearing as such, the other bit is just a retaining ring, same as an English (Timken) axle.. The bearing size should be 3.150in for big ford if I recall.

I was reading this Kevinstang's Ford Nine Inch Differential Page + (well looking at the pics) while typing that above and if you look at the pics of the housing where the bearing goes ....... ive got the large one (the mrs would disagree ) but if you look at the next pic of the bearing the bearing for the large one seems to be a 2 piece

But i cant seem to find anyone (on the web) to find the correct info

    Retaining ring Shaft dia 1.562 x 2.100 x 0.360
    Bearing inner shaft dia 1.562 x 3.155 x 0.825

I cant see any numbers on the inner race as its still on the shaft

Number on the outer seal is SE508
On the inner seal its SE88508

all you need is the numbers off the bearing and then go to 5 ways belts and bearings on the sidcup bypass. or failing that.....steve cross

And as said before vince, the bottom ring is part of the kit and it is a press on fit, exactly the same as the ones i fitted on chris's shafts the other year

Si there are NO numbers on the bearings and SKF dont list any bearings with the external seal ................ Yes I was going to try Steve in the morning but i wanted to make sure i had a back up plan too

As ive still got to find someone to fit them too (i didnt need the last lot fitted as my shafts came with them already on) Oh and i do know the retaining ring isnt part of the bearing ................. do you honestly think im that stupid
