    My dad had a Renault Avantine that suffered with a repeated flat battery if left for a couple of days.....

    when we delved further that too was a central locking relay that was energised when the car was off but wasn't locked... so it does happen!

    So does this mean I'm forgiven for not being able to count past 1 and less than 3 from the right hand side? . Seriously, thanks for that, I guess that's exactly what is happening, the relay is just waiting to do it's job and switch off but it never will, fingers crossed and thanks again
