Get yourself a copy of the Haynes engine management manual. That gives the pinouts for the entire ecu connector.
But, from memory, the black&red wire from the relay runs to the fuel pump; the thick brown wire is a permanent live; the green wire goes straight to the rev counter; and the black wire is an ignition switched live. There will also be some earth connections, easily indentifiable by the ring connectors. These MUST be to a good chassis earth; a self tapping screw is not good enough(true of any earth really). That lot should get it running. I've never used the wiring for the gauges in the ECU loom as I've fitted them to Fords and used the car's existing wiring. A few minutes with a multi meter will soon point them out.
Check out www.dominicbolton.freeuk.com/injection.html for an installation I helped with.

Its the electronic one..
Have you got the original loom with the engine/gearbox, cos I think that's the best thing to start from. I've done a couple of 4 cylinder ones and if they are modified one wire at a time you're less likely to make any mistakes.
Incidentely, as above the fat brown wire is not a live it's an EARTH, as all brown wires on Fords of that period are.
For my reference, I use a Granada Haynes manual which you should be able to pick up pretty cheap these days.
I've also sent you a PM
