    I mostly use epoxy which has a higher catalist to hardener ratio and is thicker, the reason I prefer to use the takeaway food trays is that you get less exothermic heat by using a shallow tray.
    But it's all good advice and I recon you have to use what works best for you!

    Interesting thread mate

    I have a small wooden decorating roller. but looking at that thread, your design looks a lot more effective. What’s the best way of cleaning it after use? Whilst resin is still liquid or let it harden and then clean?

    As Mygasser said, always whilst they are still wet.
    I put mine in a 'dirty' acetone container, then dry off with the compressor blow gun.
